We’ll meet at the church at 6pm for a meal and more information on what we’ll be doing during our bi-weekly sessions.

“Hearing God”

1337256000000_cached(2)

This week, as promised, is about how we can hear from God and a little of why we don’t hear from God.  Don’t expect a 5-Step Guide to Getting Your Prayers Answered though.  God is not so easily manipulated.  A few things to expect: The problem is Us.  The solution is in the Bible and, in a very biblical sense, in us already…but we’ll have to be still enough to actually hear what God is saying.

I hope you can join us but if life is taking you in a different direction you can download the bulletin here to keep up with what’s happening at Emmanuel this week.

Don’t forget about the Women’s Progressive Dinner this Tuesday night at 6pm!

Sunday Prep

This week we will spend our time in Matthew 16:13-20 and asking the question, “Who are you?”  And perhaps more importantly, “How can we really know?”  We have to apply this question to both Jesus and finally to ourselves.  But if we are honest with ourselves the answers might be fairly interesting!

If you cannot be with us this Sunday don’t miss out on what’s going on.  Download our weekly bulletin here: August 10th Bulletin.
