We will be celebrating the life of Monty Mostad this evening at Brooks Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 7pm and the Memorial Service will begin at 7:30pm and will be an informal time of sharing the memories of how Monty influenced so many of our lives. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 4 at Emmanuel Evangelical Church at 2pm with a meal to follow.
We are making some changes to our schedule this week. Our December Council meeting is moving to 6pm on Tuesday (12/3). It will be an abbreviated meeting to ratify ballots and budgets before the Congregational Meeting. There will be no committee reports. At 7pm there will be a Prayer Service for Monty Mostad at Brooks Funeral Home. This will be a time of sharing thoughts and memories of Monty and how he has influenced so many. On Wednesday, December 4th, a Memorial service will be held for Monty at 2pm at Emmanuel Evangelical Church. Please keep Monty’s family in your prayers as they walk through the next few days and weeks. Monty will be missed by many even as our hearts rejoice at his homecoming!
We want to let everyone know that the previously scheduled showing of Billy Graham’s message, “My Hope America” will be postponed. Pastor Jeff Musgrave, at the First Baptist Church, will be sharing his photos and experiences from Israel that evening and we have been invited to join. Several people had expressed interest in the Billy Graham Special but also wanted to take part in Pastor Jeff’s program. So, we will reschedule our previous plan in order for people to take part in both programs if they’d like. We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause. This just gives you more time to invite more friends to the evangelistic outreach that Billy Graham is offering!
